1942 -

Born in Johnville, Québec in 1942.

Early on when he was in fifth grade, his drawings made him stand out. As soon as his high school was over, he enrolled at the Fine Arts Academy in Montreal. He first opted for graphic arts and worked in that field for over 7 years . In 1988, afther many solo exhibitions, he was awarded the René Anjou Award by the Fondation Culturelle des Pays de la Loire.

He furthered his studies until he could master a very special technique that would enable him to capture the emotions felt while looking at a particular scene, all the while remaining very spontaneous.
