Claude Le Sauteur is a Quebec -born painter Pentecost River on October 7 , 1926. He died on 29 November 2007 at the age of 81 years .

He studied at the School of Fine Arts of Quebec, from 1945 to 1950, under the tutelage of Jean-Paul Lemieux , Jean Dallaire and Omer Parent.

His painting is a continuation of his masters, Jean-Paul Lemieux and Jean Dallaire, and has a universal character. The painter Claude Le Sauteur is one of the leading artists of Quebec. Rooted in the Charlevoix region , it has become a towering figure in the region dedicated to the art and heritage . The Hopper painted the reconciliation of man and nature . His works reflect a modern plastic built with great rigor and leave reflected a high sensitivity and a constant concern pictorial .
