Born in Québec in 1949, Guy Paquet is passionate about nature, sports, and painting. Before reaching the age of 30, he was mentioned in the prestigious reference on Art- The History of Painting in Québec by Guy Robert.
His works are filled with acknowledgements of the modern era with his own perspective in full view. He never ceases to perfect his art, which captures his audience and critics alike with his interpretation of the landscape. He makes us feel the space, the silence and depth of the horizon as only he can present it with such a magical realism in contemporary art.
