Frank Nemeth was born in 1919 in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia

From 1939, he studied at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts. He stayed in Germany until 1949. Afterwards, he move to Paris, where he received a scholarship from the French Alliance of the Paris Academy of Fine Arts. During his time in Paris, Nemeth discovered French Impressionism, which had a great impact on his work.
Nemeth moved to Canada in 1951, in Montreal, where he worked as a professional artist for many years. He painted murals for prestigious hotels, whilst still pursuing his painting career. He later moved to Beaconsfield, where he worked exclusively on painting.
Frank Nemeth gained notoriety for his still life and landscape paintings. His pieces can be found in numerous private collections.
He passed away in 2010.
