Pierre Lussier was born in 1945. He studied classical studies from 1957 to 1964 at the Séminaire de Québec. Subsequently, his interest in different art forms led him to study film direction at the University of California (UCLA). From 1980 to 1983 Lussier made personal studies on ancient art in Florence, Italy. He then deepened his knowledge of ancient techniques.

This love of classicism is remarkable in his art. Pierre Lussier's paintings do not seek to break or revolutionize art but rather to create in the continuation of universal art, focusing on the most luminous places and moments in the evolution of consciousness.

Seeing himself as a current, romantic or classical artist, he does not adhere to a single trend but prefers to keep freedom in his art.
