Judith St-Hilaire’s interest toward visual arts has been with her for a long time.
After studying for many years in the biggest schools of Quebec, she stands out by her constant, yet surprisingly original, production of art.
She likes to take on challenges by taking part in many contests, exhibits and symposiums. Her peers’ recognition gives her the title of professional artist. Member of the International Academy of Beaux-Arts in Quebec, she receives the title of Academician as well as the Revelation of the Year at the Academia XXI gala.
Her first paintings are figurative, then evolves toward semi-figurative; the chromatic colors melt together to create landscapes and cityscapes. The maturity of her art does not elude from the wonderful pleasure of the senses. Following her inspiration, she works toward putting on her canvas everything that surrounds her, nature, places, people, etc. Her spatula work gives her art a spontaneous effect which is quite remarkable.
Her work is coveted by collectors from many countries.
