Born in Sainte-Monique in 1952, Pauline Paquin began drawing at a very young age. A nurse by training, she studied at the Cegep de St-Jérôme before going to practice her profession in Montreal.

In 1980, her neighbor was an artist who introduced her to oil painting, and she became seriously interested in the medium. It was in 1983 that she decided to devote herself full time to painting. She is now a member of the Institute of Figurative Arts.

Figurative painter, her work is inspired by childhood. There, we find a magical world with colours and shapes imbued with vitality. Each of her paintings tells a story and perfectly illustrates the four seasons of our country. From the city to the countryside, the artist’s picturesque work makes you smile.
