Robko is Robert Stastny. Born in Czechoslovakia, he grew up in Quebec and has lived in Europe since 2005 (more precisely, since 2016, in Berlin). It was an accident at the Massif de Charlevoix, that pushed Robert towards art. He began by writing, and in 2010 he left Paris and the world of international business, to settle in Montpellier. His paintings, inspired by poetry, were recently exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts Leipzig (MdbK Leipzig). His collection of poems, Portraits, does what a book of poetry is supposed to do. And with his band, Yellow Hotel, he makes music.
